I have a hot swappable keyboard (plate mounted) with 3 pin switches and the switches I’m looking to put in are 5 pin. Will this still work with my board or will I need to find a 3 pin variant? Also, does there need to be a space on the switches that allows for the RGB lights on my board to fit into?

This is what I’m look at right now

gotcha. was just taking a guess. that is interesting.

i suppose the next logical guess is jwk just chucks in dampeners into existing durock designs, whereas maybe gateron and cherry account for the dampeners’ effect on travel distance.

apparently durock silents do have slightly less travel distance, though they’re not reporting a whole mm.
