Amazon has some good minamilistic beds for a good price, specifically the Zinus beds. This is the one I got, but if you rather spend the $ on other items, you could get two beds for under 1k easily.

Tacking on to this comment. I bought myself a cheap Zinus bed frame off amazon and it’s been holding up quite well.
