I really like it. I actually think the lack of bed frame looks nice. I have heard that moisture can become an issue if you don’t have air flow around your mattress. If you decide to get one, a really low frame could get some air under there while preserving most of the look. I found this on Amazon:

Mattress foundations provide more than just aesthetics or height. They can also facilitate adequate airflow and ventilation for a mattress, and protect it should there be unexpected floor damage (depending on the floor you sleep on). There are super low profile 5" frames out there that are very simplistic and can still provide airflow/protection. Otherwise, any solution that is directly on the floor will have the drawbacks above.

Generally speaking not a problem in terms of support. There could be an air circulation problem though as the other commenter said. Don’t flip your mattress unless its a 2-sided mattress (most are not!).
If you are concerned about airflow, you could just a low profile platform bed like this.
