Get an upholstered Bedframe. It will look so much better. I linked to one in a separate post on Amazon. But I’ll also include it here.

A cream upholstered bed frame is exactly what I was thinking that this wall needed to take it up a notch and make the room feel lux.

Don’t know OP’s budget, but Amazon has pretty inexpensive upholstered bed frames that have good reviews. I just did a quick search and found several for $200-$300. Here’s an example: Amazon Upholstered Bedframe

If OP has a bigger budget, go somewhere like restoration hardware and find something really beautiful that will make the room feel lux.

I agree that the nightstands are too low. But I also think the dresser might not look as heavy and the room wouldn’t feel as unbalanced if the dresser and nightstand had legs so that you can see the carpet under the pieces. You can buy legs to put on each piece and paint, stain or leave them as is. If you want an earthy vibe, leave them raw and unfinished and add some plants in this room. You could paint them gold or silver and use that as an accent color throughout the room. Or stain them the same color as the existing furniture if you want them to blend in.

Also, add some plants to this room.

I saw that someone else suggested rotating the room and accent color. I think that would work better in this room, but honestly I’d probably leave it and try the legs and if it still felt unbalanced, then I’d go full white or cream on the curtains to help with the balance in room.

Once you have the headboard, consider adding some large scale art or beautiful photos above the bed on the accent wall. Find something peaceful that brings you joy.
