She put it together herself (she’s 17) and I’m not sure she did it correctly. But it looks great and is holding up well. No issue with bed bugs and honestly that doesn’t make sense. Why would they invade a random box if there is no obvious food source? If you are worried just unpack and inspect in your driveway/outside

My son has two of these-one at home and one at college. Not the style you are looking for but very sturdy and high off the ground.

Ikea queen haugsvaer medium firm mattress with Zinus bed frame. Both used for the past 18 months and have treated me well. I’m moving from Austin August 31st so would like to have a pick up date as close to August 31st as possible. Can deliver in the Austin area as well for an extra fee.
