Hello,
I realized my bumbling mistake only after assembling this bed frame:
http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00VKXV7UI?psc=1&redirect=true&ref_=oh_aui_detailpage_o06_s00
I have a queen mattress and forgot to upgrade the order from full to queen size bed frame. Obviously the mattress doesn’t quite fit. I can live with the mattress hanging over the edge of the frame, however, there is a 1 1/4 inch gap between the bed slats and where the mattress should rest. I fear the indent could warp the bed or cause subtle back damage from the slight angle inwards (let alone it just doesn’t fit well)
.
However, rather than disassemble and return the frame, I’d like to attempt and fill this gap myself. I’ve considered buying plywood sheets from home depot or lowes but I would have to buy multiple sheets to match the gap height. I further do not have access to power/woodworking tools and am on a student budget. I am at a bit of a loss on what options I have, if any. Thanks for any suggestions!
