I have an atrociously nosy downstairs neighbor, so I was in a similar situation. Fortunately I wanted a new bed as well, so I got a tuft and needle mattress with this frame from Amazon and it’s been great. No noise whatsoever and the bed frame looks awesome. It was very inexpensive and looks and feels like something that would cost a lot more.

Depending on your bed, you’ll only have 3.5-4 feet at the bottom of it.

A floating media console will generally be shallower than a standing one, and you can mount it at the height you need.

What’s the budget?

This bed is the one we have. It may suit your needs. We love it- it’s upholstered, very sturdy (metal frame), looks nice, and also priced right. I would highly recommend.
