Worst case scenario you can light your bed on fire. In other woods DO NOT DO THIS!
Also go on craigslist and look for a metal bed frame. People are constantly giving these away or selling them for like $20. Amazon also sells one for $45 which is about as cheap as you can go for a new option.

I have a very simple metal frame with an attached headboard. I prefer this setup because it is the most space efficient and the bed is very easy to makeup (no need to lift mattress and tuck sheets down into an enclosing frame). I have a box spring which gives the bed some height and, for comfort, purchased a high quality mattress topper. Also, regardless of the frame that you choose, you will want to enclose both your mattress and box spring in a bed-bug-proof cover; while I have never had a bed bug problem and hope that I never do, this is good insurance against a guest bringing in some of the pests.

Ok so what you have there isn’t just a frame, it’s a platform bed
If you had JUST a frame, you can buy just a headboard yeah or you can buy an entire bed — headboard, side pieces, footboard (sometimes),
