What is the opinion of Reddit about the
Yamaha A-B Box, 7.9 x 7 x 3.1 (RH5Ma)?

I’ve had these since ~2000. Used them in an office job near daily for about 14 years. The material that covers the earpads has long been gone (beard), but they still sound great and are now the primary set I use at my home desktop. Some audiophile at work commented on them, so I guess they’re known for something in some circles.
