The differences is the it looks different, it includes a stand, and it also has a pen that you have to charge but it has the same level of preassure.

Edit: it also has two more shortcut buttons

There’s the XP Pen 22HD Pro or the Artist 16 as well.

Hey there, I’ve been doing research for the past year trying to find something to replace my wacom companion 13″ (gen1) when it finally up & dies on me for good. I tried out the 13HD & I hated it, the screen was incredibly dim compared to my companion & the screen itself had a weird slick feeling to it, the companion on the other hand has some nice “tooth” to it. I’m also not bothering with the Cintiq pro 16 for the lack of buttons & I’ve not heard anything good about the $100 expresskey remote (constant disconnects & buggy software)

Check out Brad Colbow’s reviews on Youtube, he has some nice breakdowns on various pen displays and any driver/cable issues, although they’re all Asian brands to my knowledge (I’m not sure there’s any made in the US) My only complaint to his reviews is they’re mostly for drawing/doodling only. (his favorite device at the moment is the ipad pro with clip studio) Not really helpful for people needing to run zbrush & maya.

If I had the money, I would get the top of the line Wacom Mobile studio pro, but since I’m on a budget, I’ll probably try out the XP-Pen artist 16 (I prefer working on smaller screens)

Good luck & please let me know what you end up finding!
