DX also doesn’t make the best products no gaming company really does (even Secretlab) since they don’t know the contract grade office furniture side. I am a furniture engineer and if you are ever in the market again or want to return your DX chair 😂I just helped a start up company make a really great office product and we did a gaming cross over WORKSMYTH

The issue with the $100 to $200 gaming chairs is the cheap construction, low grade materials, and lower/no testing standards. I work in the commercial furniture industry designing high-end office chairs and all of the ergonomic chair usually feel uncomfortable initially and here is why:
1) The back shape usually has a more pronounced lumbar support to force sitting in the correct position which may feel uncomfortable for months until you develop better sitting habits.
2) the foam on these are usually better grade high density molded foam which will initially feel firm until broken in. However, these are longer lasting seats that aren’t just issuing cheap foam that will be flat in 2-3 months.
