Do you want it to have rgb? I’m really into keyboards, so I would suggest something which is hot swappable so you can mod it later.

there is this wormier with gateron yellows for less than what I’d spend on the k552 and mods combined lol, should I just go with this? The main thing I’m worried about is the board/case not providing enough density for decreasing the micro echo/limiting the fullness of sound I can get, which I feel the k552 is good for

Maybe something like the Womier K87 or DROP ENTR? Some trade-offs. Womier I believe is mini-USB not type-C. Drop isn’t hotswappable so you’re stuck with the yellows.

Maybe look into other boards that are barebones and hotswappable and buy your switches separately so you aren’t so limited to suppliers that sell their pre-made boards with yellows?
