I bought a ninja blender. They make a decent blender. It’s no Vitamix, but it comes a lot cheaper too. 180 bucks seems excessive when a gallon jar with a spigot and a mesh cylinder do me a week’s worth of cold brew for 40 bucks.

Ninja should stick to what they know, making the second best blenders, instead of sticking their name on a wide variety of third-rate or worse other crap. Their website looks like a catalog of stuff they ordered from China with their logo on it and a slightly different plastic shell.

It’s one of the downfalls of capitalism, these corporations want to keep growing by any means possible and at any expense. None are happy finding an equilibrium of success.

I haven’t used Ninja’s system, it might be decent.

So I got one of these for making cold brew coffee and each time I’ve made it it’s come out tasting like coffee-flavored water. I get this cold brew roast from a local roaster, so I’m pretty sure I’ve got the right kind of coffee. But what kind of grind and how much should I use? Last time I used about 2 cups of beans at the coarsest setting my grinder would go at and that really did not do the job lol. So if anyone can help me that’d be super.

The Original Cold Brew on Tap… https://www.amazon.com/dp/B074G53B78?ref=yo_pop_ma_swf

I bought this, and it’s worked pretty well so far. I want to get my grounds more coarse, but it’s tough to find a grinder that’ll match the coarseness of my hand grinder. It’s not that bad to do it manually, but it is tedious.
