I haven’t looked at the Floyd legs, or have much info on it, sorry! I live in a one bedroom, and have kept an traditional office set up (office chair and desk) and bed set up, however otherwise I am relatively furniture-free.

Rugs: I have a shag one from ikea that is ok.

Pillows: I use a combination of regular cushions (20×20) on the floor and a traditional bed pillow. Keep in mind that if you tri- or fold your shikibuton, that becomes a cushioned seat as well. I use a shikibuton for guests, and noticed that most guests who stay the night tend to gravitate towards sitting on theirs.
