I’m about to pull the trigger on a pok3r, but I was wondering if it matters which vendor I get it from? Is there a difference if i get it from Amazon vs corus keyboards, or massdrop?
(I noticed the one on amazon says “KBC” and not “Vortex”? does this make a difference?)

Sonebody has something like this? Small form factor, no logos, white body(I’m gonna buy black keycaps), uses MX Browns(this isn’t so important) and backlit? Preferably under 80€ and purchasable at amazon or some other local retailer. I live in Austria btw.

Corus got a lot of bad reputation, orders took up to 4 months, no shipping at all, etc.

You’re probably better off cancelling the order.

Amazon UK has some

I also stumpled upon a used board at ebay including PBT caps.

amazon DE also has some.

Pok3r if you want 60%.

CM Storm QuickFire Rapid if you want your arrow keys separate.

or a Planck if you’re a real man.

You could also swing by /r/mechanicalkeyboards for a more in depth look. The sidebar has good suggestions.

Poker 3 mechanical with cherry mx-browns: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00W02J5KM/

This will change your typing life. “Browns” refer to the type of recoil beneath the keys themselves. Some are harder than other and are used for gaming (red, I think), whereas brown, blue, and clear are great for prolonged typing. Honestly, this thing is the tits. It’s super loud, especially if you’re used to thin Apple keyboards, and it’s not cheap, but consider it an investment in your own professional health.

Honestly, get this. You’ll thank yourself;).

Most major mechanical keyboards are Cherry MX switches. Cherry is the name of the company that makes them and it’s one of the most common switches in mechanical keyboards. Exceptions are some Razer keyboards which use Kailh switches (not as good) and Topre switches which are found in enthusiast level mech keyboards. Cherry is your best bet. I recommended brown because it’s what I got when I purchased my first mech keyboard- still my favorite switches. Blues are really loud and clicky,if you ever want to sleep again don’t get him that. Kailh are a shitty Razer custom made and just not as good as Cherry.

If you are willing to go $10 more expensive, I 100% recommend getting the Pok3r 3 for $130.

If you definitely can’t go above $120, then I’d look at the CM Storm Quickfire Rapid. It’s $90 for the tenkeyless version and $118 for the full-size version.
