You can DIY yourself a nice bed for <$100 or so.

You need a metal frame, just the base thing. Those are cheap, and often mattress stores will include one. Also Amazon — if you have a box spring https://www.amazon.com/Zinus-Compack-Adjustable-Spring-Mattress/dp/B015IHMK5C/ref=sr_1_7

If you just have a mattress no box spring those cost a bit more.

Then you just get a sheet of plywood from Home Depot, cut to the size of your bed, some cotton batting and a fabric you like, from Jo-Ann’s or whatever. Then you just put the batting on the wood, put the fabric on top, pull around the back side and staple or use small nails to tack it down. Put it against the wall and push the bed up against it. Voila.
