I’m in the same pickle. My daughter just retired my bluedio t2s by snapping the headband. Looking for something a bit more rugged.
What did you end up buying?

Edit:I looked at the same models you did, with the addition of the V-Moda Crossfade here: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015R7AGHC/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_i_RR6rCb8FBJ6Z7

V-Moda Crossfade Wireless ($299 Amazon). 12 hour battery life. They sound very similar in wired and wireless. My overall top recommendation for BT at any price. V shaped sound. Great bass, good treble extension and clarity.

VMODA Crossfade2 has lower bass, the first version is much better

I listen to dub techno, techno, tech-house mostly. So my suggestion is the best for this genre, I went to the headphone shop and try all the headphones with my JDS LABS, and order a couple of headphones online including Sennheiser, no headphone even close to VMODA.

I got ya: V-MODA Crossfade Wireless @ Amazon for $185 new, $144 used on avg. Let me know how you like em, I’ve been thinking of grabbing a pair myself once things level out.

What’s the difference between these and this? https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015R7AGHC/ref=emc_b_5_i

Besides the obvious wireless part. Any quality differences?

If you want BT, consider the V-Moda Crossfade Wireless $299 Amazon. these are v shaped, but not overly so. They sound very similar in wired and wireless.

If you plan to get these consider the XL pads for them as they are far more comfortable.

There’s also their predecessors the M100 which are a wired version that can fold. On sale on the Microsoft store for $150 right now. They are normally around $250 on amazon, but $200 right now (lowest its ever been). The MS store discount is a steal. The XL pads will also fit these as they both have the same ear cup size, also recommended,

They’re also $150 at BestBuy due to price match

However, I do feel that isolation would be better with IEM’s, just ask away if you want suggestions.

Hi there 😀

I will surely give you additional suggestions ;D Better build with the same sound quality will cost you $$$.

The problem is that paying more will get you 0% better sound and only better build. So if you are willed to spend another $100, just treat the Matrix 2 very well and try your best to keep them safe. If they break, get a new pair.
