It’s super durable, I’ve taken it camping and moved it halfway across the country. The only part I could see breaking is maybe the filter/press section if you really abuse it. But even those are stainless steel, not plastic like some brands.
While this exact brand isn’t available anymore, I’m pretty sure this one’s the same model, or at least very similar.

I have purchased three different stainless steel models on Amazon that were all the exact same design and they have all turned out great. I have a suspicion they are all made in the same factory and simply branded with various names to increase sale volume. Here is the most recent one I bought and I can definitely recommend it at this point.

This generic stainless press has been working great for me so far.

I use a Fellow double walled carafe that I really like for 2 cups. It’s certainly beautiful but doesn’t hold a ton, maybe 800ml when full. I got tired of trying to brew 3 cups through a V60 so instead I just bought a cheap, double walled stainless 32oz french press from Amazon. You might consider just using the french press container as a carafe.
