you might be able to use something like this Soho KVM USB Switch there’s plenty of others to choose from. Normal USB hubs will not work as they only really work one way.

edit: you’ll still have to manually push a button to change the connection, but it’s much easier than plugging and unplugging cables. You may be able to get a smart KVM USB switch but those will cost considerably more, and at that point you might as well just use ethernet.
