I had these. I used a vitamin c serum to solve another issue on my face, and the bumps on my face reduced. I started applying the serum to my chest and arms as well and the bumps all over have disappeared.

This is the one I use, but as you can see it has a few other ingredients aside from vitamin C, so I’m not sure which component helped.

I saw on a thread a few months back, discussion about this product. Someone said it did a real great job of clearing up their face and making it more vibrant in appearance. So, I went ahead and tried it and sure enough it did it. My skin looked way more clear, often had “good skin” days, and just in general had a better natural shading. I’ve been using it for 4 months, every day. Yesterday, however, I unfortunately made a horrible horrible mistake and didn’t screw the lid back on before putting it in my bag. I found out at the end of the day it all spilled out. Now, right now I’m just wondering if I should even bother buying it again. So my question is, if I stop using this product daily will my face return to how it was? Or was this more of a permanent thing?

I had the same bumps pop up last year. I stopped taking birth control, so I think that’s why I got the flare up. When I was on the birth control all I used was the Acanya Gel mentioned below prescribed by my dermatologist and CeraVe face wash, along with a face mask here and there. Now I have to have a routine that I stick with.

My dermatologist has had me on Spironolactone for several years now. I think this helped tremendously, but several months after I stopped the birth control, I had a terrible flare up that I didn’t know how to manage.

Here is my routine now. Its sort of tedious, but it works for me.

AM

  1. Wash with Cerave SA Foaming Cleanser
  2. Toner – Thayer’s Alcohol Free Witch Hazel Toner
  3. The Ordinary Niacinamide & Zinc Serum
  4. Clean & Clear Salicylic Acid Spot Treatment (on any larger bumps)
  5. Eye Cream
  6. Aveeno Positively Radiant Sheer Daily Moisturizing Lotion (SPF 30)

PM

  1. Wash with CeraVe Foaming Facial Cleanser
  2. Toner – Thayer’s Alcohol Free Witch Hazel Toner
  3. TruSkin Vitamin C Serum (here’s the amazon link) – https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B01EKUBU5Y/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o09_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1
  4. Acanya Gel (prescribed from dermatologist, is Benzoyl Peroxide & Clindamyacin)
  5. Eye Cream
  6. Radha Rosehip Oil (when my skin feels dry)

Once per week each mask – separate days.

  1. Aztec Secret Indian Clay face mask (typically on a Monday or Tuesday) – https://www.amazon.com/Aztec-Secret-Cleansing-Original-Bentonite/dp/B081FK6L1G/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=bentonite+clay&qid=1598978803&s=beauty&sr=1-5
  2. The Ordinary’s AHA/BHA red mask (typically on Friday or Saturday).

When my skin is feeling extra dry, I use Aveeno’s positively radiant overnight hydrating facial underneath the rosehip oil. Let soak in, then apply oil.

I know this is a lot, but its helped my skin tremendously since about March of this year.

Please let me know if you have any questions on where to purchase anything or whatever. Good luck!
