If you think you can manage it, I’d HIGHLY recommend buying a seat cushion you can bring with you from class to class. I started having horrible back pain in college because of the crappy plastic chairs. But getting a seat cushion made a world of difference. I used the same cushion through grad school too. I also have one at home and will certainly use one at work (once I get back to that point).

Yes, it was a bit awkward carrying around the seat cushion. I carried mine in one of those reusable fabric shopping bags. But the one I’m linking here actually has a sewn on handle – super rad! Anyway, most of the time, no one said anything. The few times people did, they thought it was just a laptop case. 😀
