>and This: https://www.amazon.com/TOPPING-NX4-Amplifier-Compatible-Black/dp/B01N9S3R6A/ref=sr\_1\_3?keywords=Topping+DSD&qid=1561744205&s=gateway&sr=8-3I’m cheap and I just unplug the DAC/AMP from my home theater PC and use it for my cell phone headphones and in the car. Cell usb plug giving the data to the DAC and it handles the digital to shaky electricity conversion and then the AMP makes the shaky electricity shake harder, then speaker takes shaky electricity and makes a magnet vibrate, thats all I know lol.
Wonderful! I have a similar solution that I can unplug from my stationary speakers and take on the go.
Those are nice speakers.

Thanks, I will dig into this more then.
According to the product page on amazon it is ” 100% Compatible with iOS (Black)”. But that could just be referring to the 3.5mm in I suppose.

Oh I see. Will a traditional DAC (which use audio jack) solve my issue of static noise or does it have to use USB? I’ve been meaning to get a decent DAC anyway with some nicer headphones I got–thinking about the Shiit stack or Topping NX4. But if it has to be a USB DAC, then maybe a DragonFly Red.
I don’t mind the price of these products as static issue on motherboards is still a thing and I would probably permanently use this for my desktop setup.
