They make a tiny toddy Toddy Cold Brew Coffee Maker System with Extra Filters and Silicone Stoppers Bundle https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07DKSBYCY/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_662YC8Q88Q22YEEFQYQB?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1
Or if you have a chemex already; you can brew in a separate pitcher and then filter it using a chemex.

I got a Toddy for cold brew and it was a game changer! I was always a person who liked a little bit of coffee to go with my creamer lol. With hot brewed coffee comes a rounded flavor, a satisfying aroma, a gentle sweetness, a crisp acidity, and a hint of lower bitter notes to wrap it all together. Great cold brew coffee has a smooth flavor, a rich sweetness, a very gentle hint of acidity, and virtually no bitterness. Because there is barely any bitterness that I need to cancel out with loads of sugar and cream, I can take a cup of cold brew with a splash of heavy cream and its perfect!

It would likely be much cheaper to make it yourself by buying beans in bulk
The most common method is the Toddy cold brewer
It’s super simple; basically just fill it up with ground beans and water and let sit for 12-24 hours on the fridge.

I’ve always had good experiences with my Toddy cold brew system; I also grind my own beans, which helps a lot.
I’m curious what you got your masters in that supported your work in customer success. I found my way to CS about 5 years ago after some time in software implementation/project management, operations, and sales/biz dev; I’m now a CS director but never did get an advanced degree in the field.

If you don’t like the acid in coffee get a cold brew get a cold brew coffee maker. I have a Toddy that makes concentrate. I make a batch once a week. Then I add 2 oz of concentrate to 6 oz of hot water and I have coffee. The flavor it great and it has loads less acid.

I use the Toddy cold brew kit. Does 2L (67 fl. Oz.) at a time. Can buy on Amazon for US$45. Link below

If he’s at all into iced coffee, a cold brew kit would be a great gift. It makes a coffee concentrate that you can dilute with water, milk, or creamer and serve over ice. Or add boiling water for hot coffee. My household goes through a carafe of cold brew per week, and we get less acidic, great tasting coffee from pretty low quality coffee beans.
If fancy hot coffee is more his style, a french press is great option. You could make up a cute coffee basket with a nice mug, insulated thermos, coffee grinder, or whole bean coffee.
