What is the opinion of Reddit about the

Alright so for Christmas I received a fancy theragun. It’s very cool however I’m worried that if I massage my sore spots from weight lifting with it, it might reduce my gains (idk why just a feeling). Could anyone help me in finding out if massaging the muscles after working out will prove to have less gains or could they give me a link to an article? Thanks.
