With work travel, the struggle is real. I found this book really helpful to define exercises I’m able to do with no equipment.

I like the Naked Warrior, a lot of people like convict conditioning, but NW has a ton of information that crosses over into a lot of other types of strength training.

Congratulations! You are me 10 years ago (minus the cigarette thing, I was never a smoker). Fortunately, you are looking to help yourself out now, rather than wallowing in it for another decade like I did.

> I don’t have a lot of things here, I only have one dumbbell that weight 20lbs, I need something heavier than that, but I guess 40 reps with 20lbs each arm each day would do

No, you don’t need to get anything heavier than that (unless you want to). You can do body-weight exercises alone for strength training and see some incredible gains. It’s nice to have weights, but they’re far from necessary. You can start with something like SimpleFit, and as you start getting more fit you can move on to something like The Naked Warrior or Convict Conditioning.

And of course, for cardio there’s always walking or running, depending on your fitness levels.
