I got a Tempur pedic neck pillow due to a lot of neck stiffness/soreness. It’s been a game changer for me. Very firm and supportive. At first I didn’t think it would be comfortable but I sleep really well on it. I’m mostly a side sleeper but occasionally sleep on my back.

I always wake up feeling so jammed up in my shoulder and neck when I sleep on my side too, even with a chest pillow and pillow between my knees.
I seem to do a bit better sleeping on my back with a cervical spine pillow and a fluffy pillow under my knees to discourage me from turning onto my side in my sleep. There’s a tempurpedic one that is good. I’ve had mine about three years and it’s finally kind of wearing out. Link is here. A bit pricey but it’s made a difference for me. Big at first, less lately but I may just need a new one. Of course now I’m ruined for other pillows.
For reference on the sizes, I’m a 5’4” woman, about 130lbs and use the medium pillow. A NUCCA chiropractor sized me for it. If you get one, make sure you line up right with your shoulders at the bottom of the pillow, so your neck is over the curved part. If you sleep on your side with it, you have to scoot down a bit so your ear is on the big hump of the curve, if that makes sense.

Not the person you asked a question at, but I bought this pillow and it’s reduced my headaches and migraines. I would like to not, my migraines mostly being in my neck and work their way up.

I’d like to add, this is not for stomach sleepers, it’s for back and side sleepers.
