NGL, got mine off Amazon. The seller even threw in some orings and cap puller (not in the listing so don’t be surprised if you don’t get them)

I recommend a very light lube job.

Some quick build details:

ErgoDox PCB’s are from Profet Keyboards.

Switches are those purple pandas from amazon. I swapped in the gold plated 2-stage springs included with the switches. Springs and switches are oiled with “Tri-Flow Superior Lubricant” which is PTFE based. The nice part of TriFlow is it’s relatively inexpensive, especially for how much you get, and can be found at many auto parts, hardware and home improvement stores.

For the 2U keys, I went with Durock V1 stabs, as the V2’s were out of stock at the time and I’m impatient. Those were greased with white lithium grease. So far so good, but might re-grease in the future.

I have a bamboo case on the way from Falbatech. They will end up mounted on bamboo bases via some 3D printed brackets that will also tilt/tent the boards. Then I’ve already shaped EVA foam wrist rests, and wet formed leather that I then wrapped the foam with.

Keycaps are some ZDA set I found on Amazon. Currently working on a custom legend for the modifiers and layers. I’ll just print it on water slide decal paper, apply them to the keycaps and seal them off with a matte clear enamel. I used to use this clear enamel to seal handmade wood fishing lures. They’ve seen years of use with no signs of water getting through the clear, so it should protect the decals well.
