I’m unsure what I should get, and I could use some help.

I tried the Corsair K-100 and ultimately wasn’t thrilled by it for what I paid, and decided I don’t really need the macro keys or number pad anyways. I did rather like the actuation force and distance of the OPX switches though.

So I decided to try the Apex Pro TKL, which I currently have coming soon from Amazon, but may return because I’m reading that the LED design conflicts with thicker keycaps. My alphabet keycaps are these while my other keys are all these, the latter of which is rather thick, and I don’t really want to file down keycaps that cost me that much.

I want low actuation force and low actuation distance linear switches with good stabilizers, per-key RGB, a volume scroller, and a metal surface (bonus points if brushed). I’d also like a magnetically attached wrist rest. I suppose I could do without the volume scroller if it really came down to it.

I wouldn’t be against building from scratch, but it would have to be hotswappable because I absolutely hate soldering if I don’t have to.

I’ve thought about getting a GMMK, but have heard some conflicting things about the quality of the stabilizers, and only the pro (which isn’t TKL) has a volume scroller.

The Wooting One looks kind of nice, but it’s currently unavailable.

My use cases are gaming and writing.

Please help. I don’t know what to do.

Yikes, that seems excessive… I see partial sets like this one:

https://www.amazon.com/teamwolf-Stainless-Mechanical-Keyboard-TeamWolf/dp/B099BKS2MG/ref=rvi_2/134-1721251-1365612?pd_rd_w=QkOa0&pf_rd_p=f5690a4d-f2bb-45d9-9d1b-736fee412437&pf_rd_r=Q10680KR17621VGSMEB9&pd_rd_r=6f9c8569-1376-4d89-9e0a-1cbac3403966&pd_rd_wg=TjuPF&pd_rd_i=B099BKS2MG&psc=1

Seems like there should be 104-key floating around out there somewhere… In terms of work, I routinely have contact with different oils and grease for casters, and between that and the hand cleaners they deteriorate plastics fairly quickly… I end up with extremely smooth-surfaced keys with no identifiers on them =P
