Not exactly a cheap thing, but a GoXLR mini. I’m not a streamer or anything, but being able to easily separate all my audio into different channels that I can adjust up or down as easily as pushing a slider on my desk up and down is really damn nice.

The GoXLR is the only mixer I have used that was user friendly and high quality. The price @ $200 USD it definitely a steal currently.

GOXLR Mini is on sale for $219. If you don’t need all the bells and whistles but just want some faders to control (software based) audio devices and zero-latency monitoring, it’s competent.

Would an amp like this be suitable?
Also, since I find IEMs and over ears equally comfortable, do either offer better sound, as in ability to easily recognize where sound, such as footsteps, are coming from?
