Just get a set of tfal pans from amazon like these
There’s no reason to get something nice when you have roommates, because chances are several of your nonstick pans are going to be ruined when somebody “accidentally” scrapes them with a fork or knife. A set like this is good also because it will give you a good idea about what kind of pots and pans you like to use and which ones you never use. You can start replacing them a piece at a time in the future if you feel the need to buy better stuff.
