This lamp would help and it is flexible.

I would add a laptop arm to adjust the height and clear some space in the desk. (see this one).

And a wireless keyboard like the Keychron that is so good for Macs.

that’s what I use. I have it set where its shining behind the monitor. If I need to read or something its long enough to come back around and over the monitor.
