Otherwise you just have to look for desk lamps with an articulated arm, there will be other versions maybe cheaper.

The problem with a light box is it can be harder to light, I imagine. The backdrop the op on this post is using may be better for ease of lighting.

I would definitely recommend installing something in the ceiling since you have the option. Otherwise I’d recommend perhaps finding a new desk lamp. Perhaps something like this that can clamp to the desk and be adjusted as needed?
