My partner and I have been together over 4 years and I’ve been squirting the whole time. We live together and have a lot of sex and the mess is just something we accept and manage. There are a lot of things you can do in order to make the clean up easy. I recommend accepting that mess is part of the deal and just prepping beforehand because its no fun when you can’t let go and enjoy yourself. Here are my suggestions:
Get yourself a waterproof mattress cover. My partner and I have this one because its hypoallergenic but there are others that are cheaper. Its good to have for anyone because it ensures your mattress stays clean and dry no matter what and even if you sweat or anything it protects the mattress. If anything happens and we soak through the sheets and towels we at least know the mattress is safe.
Next, get lots of towels that you don’t care about. We have a full set of old towels that are designated sex towels. We keep them clean and handy in a dresser near the bed and if things get heated it barely takes more than 10 seconds to pull them out, throw them down and get back to business. As soon as we’re down we just toss them aside and 95% of the time two folded towels are enough to keep the sheets dry. That way we just use towels and don’t have to wash and change the sheets often. Actually, if we’re really lazy we’ll use the same dirty towels more than once because its mostly water anyway.
Its really not a big deal if you have these tools available and it really isn’t that big of a mess if you use towels and just throw them in the hamper afterwards. Really at this point it creates one extra load of laundry a week but that’s about it.
