I did the same 4 weeks ago, and I only got my full mobility back a few days ago. It’s up to you whether you think you need to get medical help, but here’s what helped me:

Ibuprofen,
Lying as opposed to sitting when possible,

My pain was on my actual tailbone, so a different area, but I imagine the shockwave was similar. I live alone so I didn’t have help for shopping etc, but I did manage. I reckon I’d have healed better if I could have had a couple of weeks of someone doing stuff for me, so if you have that option then take it!!
