I really wanted a Keiser, but couldn’t justify the price. Found this Sunny on Amazon – it’s super sturdy, easy to assemble and works with an iPad on the handle bars or I use the app through my fire stick on the tv.

Sunny makes a Keiser style (rear 7 lb wheel) bike:

I bought one 3 months ago and have been riding 3-4 times a week with the peloton app. It gives you cadence which is really the only thing I care about. It also does HR but I don’t use it. As for resistance – the whole benefit of cycling classes to me is that you tailor the effort to your fitness level. So if the instructor says 45 resistance I don’t really see that as being crucial. From context clues you quickly learn that 25-35 is flat road (little to no resistance), 35-45 is moderate resistance, 50-60 is heavy, and 60+ would be maxing out. So I just follow along with those guidelines pushing myself as much as I can.
