Videos are great once you’ve really immersed yourself into the community and show ability to analyze technique. They are not great at teaching the sport to a newcomer. I would never buy, nor would I recommend that anyone purchase a training program. There is a decent book out there if you’re interested to learn a lot.
My advise (if its worth anything to you) would be to find a club that has a “sage” puller with a few national titles that enjoys teaching others so that you’ll want to go back every week. There is no replacement for table time.

The book you were thinking of is Strong Arm Tactics. I’ve been reading it recently and it’s been super helpful.
