Looks like you can get n Apex RAW which seems to be identical to the 300, for £50 on Amazon. Couldn’t you and another family member club together and buy it as a joint present to him?

Since I’m new no idea what you mean by ‘palm’ but i do know what claw means since i play that style on my console for competitive COD.

So basically the 502 and the 402 are the same but one is a bit smaller (402) and the price is a £10-12 difference, so do you think i’ll be safe removing that extra £10 from the budget and get a 402? whilst i can put that for the keyboard?

Keyboard-wise i don’t want anything fancy or jump on the bandwagon but i can’t lie, although i don’t know what they mean, I’m attracted to the 5 keys on the left side keyboards, again i don’t know their use but it seems like ‘oh that looks like something a pro would use’ thing xD

Hence I’m thinking either to go with the Steelseries one (http://www.amazon.co.uk/SteelSeries-Apex-Raw-Keyboard-DVD/dp/B00B2FP6EM/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1433016532&sr=8-1&keywords=steelseries+gaming+keyboard) or the Razer Deathstalker one.. Any advise on that end?

Already use a competitive BenQ monitor so i think I’m sorted for that one..

Edit: What do you think of SteelSeries’ peripherals, any good?

I picked this one up a few weeks back, a nice lot of macro keys to pay with and it’s backlit (albeit only white.) Not mechanical by any means but I like a low profile keyboard.
