marketing aside, it’s a clever design even if the technology isn’t earthshattering; i see that Dyson bought the company that designed it; if you look past the marketing there may be something there, though i wouldn’t buy at anywhere near that price
i’d want to see a commitment that Dyson would support it with replacement parts for 37 years; a company i trust somewhat better in that regard is Steelcase, and i’m very font of my Steelcase Dash lamp — CRI slightly lower at 80, but a really great minimal UX, and Steelcase specifically made the bulb replaceable, plus supports it with several mounting systems (i got mine for $90 in the closeout section of Room & Board)
