Granted I’m a cub leader, but I have this set in my personal car camping kit: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B000HK50IU/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_fabc_1C5E8B5CECAT7CFJM689

I’d recommend stainless steel. Easy to cook on, easy to scrub, doesn’t matter if it scratches. If you’re patrol cooking, a set this size works.

If you’re cooking for the troop, you’re going to need larger pots and pans. A great place to get items can be goodwill / salvation army. Large pots will likely need to be bought new.

I’d recommend a nonstick pan for eggs and veggies, and a cast iron pan for meats. Find a container for your kitchen utensils that can fit with your cook kit too.

My partner and I ordered this set of pots/pan from amazon, they are amazing space savers and have NO anti stick coating (!!!!!) I think the detachable handle may be plastic, but the no-coating thing makes sure we can use them for a long time 🙂
