Yeah I totally prefer them for running and hiking! Just the fact of being lighter means less weight on my ears, which can take its toll during 15h days on the trail. (My usual running headphones are like this)
My bone conduction ones are from Aeropex, and they’re waterproof, which is a big deal for me. Only gripe is the shorter battery life and nonstandard plug.
The audio quality is short on bass, but it’s never bothered me.

I’ll go much cheaper. I’ve been using these for years. They get the job done. I don’t need fancy, and I didn’t want something expensive that was going to get gross from sweat.

Hi OP,
Have you tried something like this?
I used this for years, and I really like it. It might be easier to use in your condition as well. Just thought I would try and suggest it

I don’t think you’ll be able to find anything from well known brands these days but there should be some no names on Amazon under sport headphones, running headphones

The first ones basically without the cord. I’ve had them for like 3 years and they are just starting to break down a little. The sound is pretty decent, they last for like 20 hours on a charge, and I like the control buttons on the side (I know others have these but they are super easy).

How about “behind the neck” headphones like these?
