What is the opinion of Reddit about the
Sony MDR10RC Overhead Lightweight Folding Headphones – Black?

Sony offer pretty good value for money, especially if you can find them on sale.

My best value headphones (not best but best value) ever were some Sony MDR-10RC that I bagged for £30 (That’s about $35 without tax). They are amazing clarity for that price range.

They would be good for VR use as they are “closed”.
