lol I can appreciate that. You can get the sony mdr1000x for $200 refurbished. they’re probably the best Bluetooth headphones at that price.

i only tried two bluetooth headphones that i consider good , i still think they are overpriced but they sound really good, the bose qc35 and the sony mdr1000x , i would buy the 1000x without a doubt, they will fit you real good to cause they have good noise cancellation , the sound signature is a bit warm ( meaning bass ) so keep that in mind as the msr7 seem to fit exactly what you want for in sound signature, the 1000x fold a lot and are really portable with the case it comes, they use batteries so that will add a bit of weight but i would say its fine for decently long use , pads are comfortable and the headphones are easy to drive as well, i would say your 2 picks have to be the msr7 and the 1000x, but as i said i think its overpriced at 300 and i saw you dont wanna pay above that BUT the great thing with these is that you can buy them refurbished from 200$ now in amazon which i would say is a fair price, so if you wanna pick them up you got that sweet 14 day return policy to try them out, i would personally go for the msr7 cause i think they look better and sound better, however if wireless is a must and you really want noise cancellation with a bit warm sound signature these are for you
in short , 1000x pros over msr7:
-more portable
-wireless
-comes with a good case to carry around
-top notch noise cancelling
MSR7 pros over 1000x
-Better sound quality
-matches the sound signature you describe you looking for
-Beautiful pair of headphones
-i would say these are a bit more comfortable with stock pads

I bought these last year and all it lacked was the official box. Came with everything in pristine condition (the headphones, case, cable). They did make a v2 of these headphones, but at that price you can’t beat it. I got the gold ones and they look great. Side by side I liked these over the Bose qc35’s because it had a lot more features than the other offerings in the $300 price range.

And here’s a pretty good reputable review :

i’d go for refurbished mdr1000x to save a lot of cash for essentially same quality and i would definetly buy the Audio Engine B1 Bluetooth Receiver if my device supports it , not sure if has phantom power but i would guess not, u might wanna check that yourself , get it ONLY if your phone supports apTx codec or if you gonna use it with your computer (Windows 8/10)

Or the Bose QC35. I’d probably take the Sonys, much better value at that price.
