Skip the blackouts. I just bought these and I’m utterly in love with them.
I keep one at home for day sleeping and one at SO for city light sleeping.
They bubble over lashes, adjustable, super soft, don’t squish eyelashes.

Black out curtains. Snack before bed, no large meal. Stop caffeine at 4am (I dose just before bloodwork).
I have ncc a sleeping night shifter sign in my window which my neighbors are great about. But white noise machine is great!
Don’t flop! Stick to your sleep schedule and become a night owl.
Days off I still stay up till at least 4-5am and sleep till 12-1. Do my thing, nap in the evening.
