If this has been said already I apologize. You might want to try Skinsmart. I have to wear a mask all day while I’m on campus. I spray it on my mask before I put it on. I also spray it on my affected area when I take my mask off at lunch and then once the day is over. Really helped my cystic acne calm down.

Was planning on getting this one since Dr. Dray recommended it, and these other youtube derms

I agree that you need to talk to your doctor or get a second opinion if such a long course of isotretinoin isn’t working. Something I would recommend trying is SkinSmart spray, a hypochlorous acid solution that can help with acne and eczema. It’s a broad spectrum antimicrobial that is very gentle.
From there you might need to see if any ingredient you’re currently using is causing the breakouts. Basically a skin care elimination diet of sorts. I would suggest getting some vegetable glycerin as a moisturizer, you only need a few drops on wet skin. It’s as bare bones as it gets for a humectant and uncommon for it to be an acne trigger.
And strict hygiene is important, don’t let anything but clean hands, towels, and pillowcases touch you face. Some of us just can’t be lax about that without paying for it.

As far as I know charcoal doesn’t really benefit the skin. Dr Dray recommends hypochlorite spray and the reviews on Amazon say it’s helped some people with mascne.

Have you heard of hypochlorous? I started using this everyday and all over for eczema and it’s really helped my hormonal acne. Doesn’t interfere with any other products.

Some body acne ideas (sorry if others or you already stated)
– I spray this on my problem areas before, sometimes during, and immediately after a workout if it’s going to be a bit before I shower.
– Make sure you shower, or at least change your shirt, as soon as possible after the workout
– Keep the area moisturized– perhaps with a non-comedogenic lotion (AmLactin is a great exfoliating lotion)
– Another non-conventional idea is to take a quick shower before working out so you don’t have grime seeping into your open pores during the workout
– Wash your bras much more regularly! I’d say after every day if you’re seeing lots of issues in that area
– Use anti-acne products for your face on your back as well
– Get a long shower brush or wash cloth to get to those hard-to-reach places
– Wash your body AFTER shampoo & conditioner
– Wash bedsheets, bath towels (more) regularly
– Consider different laundry detergent

Hi, this stuff has been a game changer for me. I work 10 hour days and I am required to wear a disposable surgical face mask which irritates my skin terribly.
After much trial and error this is what is working for me, keep in mind everyone’s skin is different, but it’s worth a try.
I wear a 100% cotton face mask under my disposable one. On my days off I usually stick with 100% cotton masks if I’m going out and about.
Before I put my mask on I spray this on my face and on the mask ( I let the mask dry a little before putting it on)
Throughout the day when I have time I will remove my mask and spray my face and the mask again.
As soon as I get home from work I double cleanse and moisturize.
Another user said to simplify your routine. Which means cleanse, moisturize and spf. Try to use products that are fragrance free. Once your skin becomes less irritated you could slowly add actives in at night. Maybe once or twice a week until your skin builds tolerance.
I hope this helps!

I purchased it for my athletic teens and it’s been great for them.

I don’t know if I’m late to the party but I saw a recommendation for a spray that you spray on your face and mask to help kill bacteria. I’ve heard a lot of good things about it. I can’t wait to try it myself.

Not sure if it’s mask related, but if it is, I’ve seen some dermatologist say that spraying this would help a lot

I use this during my break

hypochlorous acid probably good for this, I use it on my face masks.

Hey, I ended up purchasing an hypochlorous acid spray, and an hydrating spray from LANEIGE. Hypochlorous acid is naturally produced by your white blood cells to kill harmful bacteria/viruses, so using this before/after wearing your mask can help with the dryness and prevent breakouts. I found the LANEIGE hydrating mist a bit too sticky, and will be returning it, and sticking to the hypochlorous acid spray + sunscreen. It’s been okay, I have also just reduced the number of times I wear my retinol at night, and been using a new moisturizer (https://ca.iherb.com/pr/Pyunkang-Yul-Intensive-Repair-Cream-1-7-fl-oz-50-ml/86606), that helped!
I suggest maybe avoiding formulas that contain too much fragrance such as the link you shared. I’m definitely not an ingredient pro, and if the formula works for you stick with it but natural doesn’t always mean better, and the ingredient list just seems very long = more chances of irritation.

I’d suggest, if you can get your hands on the SkinSmart hypochlorous spray https://www.amazon.com/SkinSmart-Cleanser-Bacteria-Athletes-Multiple/dp/B07VRFC3Y7/ref=sr_1_5?dchild=1&keywords=skinsmart&qid=1615848145&sr=8-5, it would be a cheaper option and just as effective.

Hey! Just wanted to let you know that Automod has removed your comment because it contains an Amazon referral link, which we don’t allow in the sub. (I know it’s not your code because I’m like 99% sure you’re not Dr. Dray, but we just don’t allow them at all!)
Could you please edit the URLs so that everything from (and including) “tag=” is removed? That way, the product pages will still be visible – but no one can make a profit from the links. Here are the referral free links for an easy copy & paste:
