Same! Used it for 1.5 months and kept getting painful acne around me mouth and cheeks.

So I decided to remove my products one at the time to see how would me skin look. Started with the Creave so of course I needed another cleanser. Didn’t want to spend a lot on something that probably would break me out too so I bought this Simple Refreshing Facial Wash (the smaller version, 50 ml, for about 1.5$)

I”ve been using it for a week and not only I haven’t seen a new acne but also my old ones are almost gone 🙏🙏🙏

Definitely Clinique TTDO for a cleansing balm – not too thick or too thin, easily and quickly breaks down makeup, and washes off clean while still leaving your skin hydrated. It has a simple list of ingredients (definitely no added fragrance or even a natural fragrance) and you could rub your eyes with it all day long and not experience irritation.

I’d recommend Simple Skincare’s refreshing facial wash gel (the green one which you can find on Amazon as a second cleanse. It’s very similar to Krave Beauty’s matcha hemp hydrating cleanser in texture and consistency (if you’ve heard of it) but much better and with a deeper cleanse in my opinion. Again it has a short, simple list of non irritating ingredients (can’t detect a natural fragrance when using it) that includes panthenol which is very hydrating. It’s a clear gel that washes off clean and just feels really nice on the skin when rubbing it on. And the cherry on top is that it’s less than 7 dollars!

Looks the the ingredients of those two are the same. As far as packaging, I’m in the UK and so your second link looks more like what I’m using. But mine says 100% Soap Free Gel on the front right under where it says refreshing facial wash.

I think you’d be fine with either of your choices, the ingredients are the same and the ingredients what I use are the same except there’s two additional, pantolactne and tocopherol acetate, which is vitamin E.

There are probably different versions by country. But again, I think you’d be fine with either of the two links you posted. The only thing missing are the vitamin e and pantolactone. In a rinse off formula, vitamin e is just about pointless. Pantolactone seems to be a humectant. ALSO – there’s the chance that the ingredients are typed in incorrectly on Amazon. Here’s a link to one from Amazon that looks exactly like what I buy:

https://www.amazon.com/Simple-Kind-Refreshing-Facial-150ml/dp/B000LQUA6M/ref=sr_1_5_a_it?ie=UTF8&qid=1531984511&sr=8-5&keywords=Simple+refreshing+facial+wash&dpID=41HGP3mHusL&preST=_SY300_QL70_&dpSrc=srch

I don’t see this stuff of simples USA website.

This is affecting me on so many levels mainly self-confidence as I have no clue how to treat it, even tried dietary changes like no sugar, always drink plenty of water. I use this face wash:https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000LQUA6M/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o00_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1

Hey there,

I hear you! I have the same kind of skin issues. I would suggest you to go fragrance free if you believe that your skin is sensitive. My recommendations would be: –

Face Wash

Simple Refreshing Face wash/ Suganda Centella Green Tea Facewash and if you want some actives (for pimples) go for Minimalist Salicylic + LHA 02% Face Cleanser/ Rejuglow (also available in medical stores)

Day Moisturiser

Simple hydrating lotion/ Minimalist Vitamin B5 10% Moisturizer/ Deconstruct Brightening Moisturizer

Night Moisturiser

Dr. Sheth’s Haldi & Hyaluronic Acid Sleeping Mask/ Physio gel Ai lotion

Happy Skincare 🙂

Hey there,

I believe in order to find your perfect match, the game of trying and testing skin and hair products has to be played. It may seem overwhelming in the beginning but do not give up! With that being said, my recommendations: –

Skin Care

Follow a basic routine. I see that you have combination acne prone skin, maybe try going fragrance free and use products targeted at sensitive skin.

Cleanser: Simple Refreshing Face wash*/ Dermaco Creamy Cleanser/ Cetaphil cleanser (non- Foaming)
Toner: Plum Clarity Toner/ Dr. Sheth’s Niacinamide & Green Tea Calming Toner*
Moisturiser: AquaOat*(It has ceramides)/ Cetaphil DAM*/ Simple hydrating moisturiser

Serum: Morning: klairs vitamin c serum*/ Deconstruct Vitamin C serum

Night: Chemist at play 2% Salicylic Acid + 1% Zinc PCA*/ Pure Bubbles Bha serum

The morning routine will help with pigmentation and the night will help with acne. I would recommend you to stop using AHA BHA peels for now as they might be very harsh on your skin.

P.S. *are my favourite products from the above which I consider my HG.

Hair Care

Try using Sclape shampoo for Dandruff initially every 3 days and then once a week. It worked wonders for me. My favourite right now is Tea Tree & Vetiver Scalp Refresh Shampoo by love, beauty and planet and instead of a conditioner I use Biolage Smoothproof Deep Treatment Pack. It is soooo gooodd!!

Finally, for pigmented lips try lipzlite or start with Biotique lip Balm.

Hope you get good hair and skin soon. 🙂

Hi Guys, I recently went out and purchased some TO products for a routine to take care of some uneven/hyperpigmentation issues I have.

Currently I have their AHA 30% + BHA 2% Peeling solution (once a week use), Resveratrol 3% + Ferulic Acid 3%, Rose Hip Seed Oil, Alpha Arbutin, Vitamin C Suspension 30% and their Glycolic Acid toning solution. I am in the process of purchasing the dull/uneven/hyperpigmented routine on this site.

My current routine is as follows: PM: Cleanse with Simple face wash -> Glycolic Acid (on alternating days) -> Resveratrol -> Vitamin C 30% -> Rose Hip Seed oil, with AHA + BHA Peeling once a week.

My questions are; is my current routine fine? If not, what kind of a routine should I follow? Is there any other product recommendation for uneven/hyperpigmented skin? Is the order of my routine correct?

I also have another issue that I have noticed is that I have started seeing yellow stains on my hands which I believe might be due to touching my face which has the Rose Hip Seed oil whilst I sleep. Does anyone else have that issue?

Any help would be appreciated.

Long time lurker, thanks to everyone that posts on this /r/ it’s really been a big help to me.

So my current PM routine is

Cleanser

Simple Kind To Skin Refreshing Facial Wash Gel (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B000LQUA6M?ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_4)

Exfoliant/Spot treatment (twice a week)

eutrogena Visibly Clear Spot Stress Control
(http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B003GUBCJE?ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_5)

Moisturiser
Cetaphil (http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B007CIIJ24?ref_=pe_385721_51767431_TE_dp_1) or Aveeno Daily (http://www.amazon.co.uk/Aveeno-Daily-Moisturising-Lotion-300ml/dp/B003H2GGZQ/ref=sr_1_7?s=drugstore&ie=UTF8&qid=1455046740&sr=1-7&keywords=moisturiser)

AM is just moisturiser.

I’m also using Superfacialist Vitamin C+ Dark Circles Eye Cream
(http://www.boots.com/en/Superfacialist-Vitamin-C-Dark-Circles-Eye-Cream-15ml_1361782/#JVRy1Yw5XXcwLR0k.99) twice a day, but it doesn’t seem to be having much effect.

As for my cheek complexion- it’s always red! It’s really starting to bother me. Is there any way to combat this? I was thinking it could be rosacea but it doesn’t look as extreme as any of the images I’ve seen of the condition.
