Have you considered a good ole kvm switch and a larger single monitor?
The one I used with my old SP3 dock (and some adapters) + desktop:
SIIG CE-KV0411-S1 2-Port DisplayPort KVM Switch https://www.amazon.com/dp/B007ZT1GQ6/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_apa_bdB7yb6PFJX9Q

I think what you’re looking for is a KVM switch… It’ll be a little hard to find a DisplayPort one, especially an affordable one. Google returned this:

But I would Google DisplayPort KVM Switch and see what comes up that fits your need.

Find a high quality KVM switch. For my setup I use a displayport instead of HDMI, but if you have HDMI out then find a high quality KVM type of your own. (https://www.amazon.com/SIIG-CE-KV0411-S1-2-Port-DisplayPort-Switch/dp/B007ZT1GQ6)
Find extra long high quality HDMI/Displayport wire. Should be around $30-$50 for 60 feet in length.
Find high quality USB 2.0 wire that is 50-60′ in length.
Run the wires and then connect them via the KVM switch.
Total cost should be around $150-$200 depending on quality of wires you want/need. If you go cheaper You can do the setup for under $120.
Beware of Steam Link. While it is great, going a 50′ wireless distance can easily get you 15-20ms of latency issues possibly. This will make a lot of FPS/MOBA type games unplayable. It may work for you, but just beware.
