Thumb up, I’ve had this one since 2018. I usually alternate, stand for an hour after two hours of sitting.

I bought this one: Seville Classics AIRLIFT Pro S3 54″ Solid-Top Commercial-Grade Electric Adjustable Standing Desk (51.4″ Max Height) Table – Black/Walnut https://www.amazon.com/dp/B075QWGLVV/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_api_glt_fabc_4WYDS8ZMSX635KDZV5QA?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1

Hey! I have one and I love having it, but there are some qualifiers. I don’t use it standing up as often as I’d like or perhaps “should.” However, I adjust the seated height constantly depending on what I’m doing and that helps a lot with back aches and various tasks. I do stand with it most often when I’m on Zoom. I like walking during phone calls, so this is a natural extension.

That said, I got mine for about $400 and wanted a new desk anyway. It seemed worth the risk to pay the extra couple hundred from the other options I was considering. That said many are way more expensive. This is the one that I got, however it was cheaper or on-sale when I got it (I paid 430 including tax). I like it and it was worth the money for me.

But you know yourself- do you shift a lot, do you feel like standing, if you set an alarm to stand for 5 or however many minutes (start small per hour and increase is suggested to adjust) will you do it? Look around for cheap ones. Just remember you may need to buy separate drawers or a shelf.

Edit: PS- also make sure you get one both tall enough and short enough. That’s a big part of why I liked this one. It has a large range. The standard desk height is 29” (U.S.) but that’s actually too tall for most people. 27”-28” is more common, but if you’re short it’s nice to even have a sitting desk that is actually the right height.
