I’m a similar build to you and just ordered this guy:

https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00T07KHGQ/

I tried a Leap (not plus) and bottomed out in it immediately finding it very uncomfortable.

I ordered the Serta because my current chair of 5 years is a Serta and it has treated me fairly well (not perfect but pretty good), or at least better than anything else I’ve tried so far (Aeron, Leap, Tempur Pedic).

I plan to report back once I get it and assemble it.

I’m in a similar position as you but haven’t made a decision yet.

I tried a tempur pedic chair but it says 250 and they mean it, the cushion just didn’t cut it.

I currently use a Serta comfort coil chair which is ok but gives me pains after a while. It’s also like 4 or 5 years old.

Steelcase leap and gesture seem to get recommended a lot. I’ve been looking at those and also possibly another Serta.

The reviews aren’t great, but I’ve been considering this guy:

If you find something you like, please let me know!

I’m a car person…the last fucking thing I want to sit in all day is a racing seat. They’re genuinely not comfortable. Why do I need bolsters when I’m not experiencing lateral Gs?

You want comfy? Give me this thing. Had a boss who had one, it was amazing to sit in on occasion.

My heart reaches out to you for the pain you’re going through, but may I recommend you try this chair in the future?

I know several who own it, one who is most assuredly big and tall (about 6’3 and well over 300 lbs), says it is the best chair he’s ever used.
