Before taking the plunge on some super expensive belt, I decided to just grab this inexpensive one off of Amazon to judge for myself what I liked and disliked for future consideration.
Ultimately, I’m very happy with it now that’s broken in and will likely just purchase another one if it wears out (no signs). I’m actually pretty glad I didn’t go with a lever belt because I find that how tight I want my belt can vary for different exercises and obviously by fluctuations in my own weight.
I’ve also used this belt plenty for weighted dips (up to 90 lbs so far) by just putting a simple chain and carabiner around it and it has held up extremely well
