Budget – Flexible budget but if possible to keep it under 150 USD.
Source – Mostly my phone to listen to spotify
Requirements for Isolation – medium isolation would be good, I use it sometimes during commute to work but don’t want to be fully disconnected from my surroundings.
Preferred Type of Headphone – any kind is ok except in-ear.
Preferred tonal balance – I want them to be balanced
Past headphones – Sennheiser PX 100-II i Light Weight Supra-Aural Headset(https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B003WV8PKG) I bought them on 2012 mostly to use with my iPod. Now I mostly using my phone with spotify for music. I liked that they had a microphone.
Preferred Music – mostly to punk rock, metal, progressive and heavy metal.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up – I’m considering the possibility of using Bluetooth but I don’t want to loose audio quality. I’d expect them to sound as good and loud as my current headphones. The integrated mic would be a plus.

I use the Senheiser PX-100 II i and the pause/play button works but the volume buttons don’t.

My two headphones do not pick up headphone audio correctly. One is a PX 200 II with microphone and the other is a Sony WH-H900N. Both work with my laptop as external microphones and I use the latter one daily on video calls. When I borrowed a pair of cheap Sony earbuds with headphones the microphone works fine so my Xbox does not seem to be the issue. Here are a couple of specific questions, but open to thoughts/advice in general on how to fix my issue.

1) I’ve read that the Xbox One controller requires CTIA – is it possible that one or both of these headphones use OMTP where I need CTIA? Should I buy an adapter? I haven’t been able to find which one either headphone uses.
2) The PX 200 II microphone picks up only the noise of the button being pressed when toggling/pressing one of the three remote buttons, but nothing else. This seems odd.

Source – Mostly my phone to listen to spotify. Will also use with PC to listen to music and videos.

What would you like to improve on from your set-up – I’d like them to be bluetooth but have the option for cable in case battery runs out. I had checked out:
JBL Everest 700 Wireless Bluetooth

Sennheiser MM 400-X Wireless Bluetooth Travel Headphones

Not sure if they will be as good or close to what my current Sennheiser are.
